1. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Email a MICROSOFT WORD compatible paper, complying with the guidelines below, by the 31st of March 2010 to Simon Thorne: sthorne @ uwic.ac.uk (remove the spaces obviously!) All papers will be double blind refereed by a minimum of 2 referees and their comments given to the author. All candidates will be notified by the 30th April 2010 whether successful or unsuccessful. We are not seeking to pre-approve papers on the basis of abstracts. However, if you wish to submit an abstract in order to obtain our guidance on whether the subject matter is likely to be of interest, please do so (to Simon Thorne as above) by the 1st of February and we will let you have feedback within 2 weeks of receipt. If your paper is accepted, the full paper, modified as necessary, must be sent by email to the same address by the 31st May 2010 Submission deadline: 31st March 2010 2. GUIDANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME SUBMITTER If you are new to writing conference papers, please read this document first: "How to write a successful EuSpRIG paper" 3. FULL PAPER FORMAT FOR CAMERA-READY COPY Be maximum 12 pages A4, 4. LAYOUT In English 5. HEADINGS The Paper Title in 18 point, bold, Arial, ABSTRACT (CAPITALS, not numbered, 11 point, bold, left justifed) Abstract text after single blank line (10 point, italic, not bold, left justified) Paragraphs separated by a single line. 6. REFERENCES Referencing within the text should be [Name, Year] References should appear at the end of the paper and should be: Times 9 point, minimum spacing 11 point; |
